IT'S not very often I go quite this colourful. While I like to think of myself as brave enough to do it, I seem to have a lot more black in my wardrobe than anything else. But when my colleague turned up at work wearing this, I knew I had to get my hands on it (yep, apparently I am that annoying girl!). I've only worn it once because it is quite the look, but I'm excited to have it in my life and I know that my (incredibly colourful) mum will be happy to see me introducing some more exciting shades into my wardrobe.

I've been a very busy bee as usual, and with Photoshop letting me down and some very dodgy photo editing software at my disposal, I've been a bit put off posting. It led me to think about the way that fashion blogging has come since it first kicked off all those years ago. Back in the day, photos weren't perfect, bloggers weren't models and posts weren't sponsored. I saw someone tweet the other day about how they're sick of seeing perfectly put together outfit pics and I have to agree. I don't know if there's anything exciting and real about a lot of fashion blogging anymore and sometimes the pressure to be perfect can be a bit too much. But I actually found it quite comforting to read that tweet, as being edited to perfection is something I've never been interested in. I love good photography and of course, I'm a visual person, but I also love real and authentic people. So that's what I'm trying to do with my blog. I want to represent the real me and hope that someone, somewhere appreciates it.

Till' next time,
