I'VE decided to start adding more colour into my wardrobe. Not only does it look bold and beautiful, but wearing brights makes you feel better too. During the cold and dark winter months, I've been dressing in neutral and dark colours, even wearing deep purple lipstick on occasion. But as soon as I ditched my usual uniform and put this red jacket on, I felt miles better. In the spirit of honesty (see my previous post), I'm not afraid to admit that me and winter do not get along and I'm sure that's the reason for my go-to autumn/winter wardrobe to be so gothic. I'm much cheerier in the summer months, when the sun is shining and the birds are singing. Luckily, I'm well and truly returning to my colourful self after my holiday in the sunshine. Phew!

Wearing trainers is another new thing for me. All my shoes are black and chunky (my shoe collection pretty much all blends into one!), but wearing these amazing gold shoes gave me a new lease of life. Now I feel like I need to invest in a few pairs; they're just so comfy! It makes them perfect for strolling round my favourite London spots, like foodie paradise Flat Iron Square in Bermondsey.

If you haven't been before, you need to go - and not just because of the beautiful d├ęcor. There are tonnes of food options to choose from, whether it's pancakes or Pad Thai you're craving. Anyone who knows me is aware of my ridiculous coffee addiction, so naturally I opted for a delish brew from Burnt Lemon Bakery on my latest visit. This was naturally followed by amazing American-style pancakes from Where The Pancakes Are, followed by a trip to Maltby Street Market for more culinary delights. Seriously, my weekends are just full of trips to amazing eateries. No wonder saving up (and toning up!) is so hard!

'Till next time.
