As much as it kills me to admit it, summer is well and truly over. Today, as I walked through London, I noticed a sprinkling of autumn leaves on the ground and now there's definitely a chill in the air. Luckily for me, I love winter fashion. As I mentioned in my last outfit post, I'm obsessed with coats and jackets and purchasing new ones is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But regardless of that, I had to share my final summery outfit post of the year. After all, it's my last chance.

I lived in these vintage shorts throughout the summer, after my pal Delia gave them to me a couple of years back. Most of the time, you can only find insanely short shorts in the shops but these are a real find. They're easy to wear and they're comfortable, so it's a win win! I'll still be wearing them this winter with some sheer tights because I love them too much to neglect them.

This shirt was yet another vintage purchase from the incredible thrift shops of Paris. Just like the shirt from my last post, it was €1.50! I have too many white vintage shirts to keep track of now, but at that price you can't say no. The belt is an old one of my mum's too and nowadays you rarely see me without it.

You'll probably recognise this coat from last year's Topshop. It's an oldie, but a goodie! It's totally perfect for this time of year, because it keeps the chill out and covers you up without being too heavy. That said, I'm always freezing so as of now I'll need to layer up like mad.

The only new purchase I've made are these new shoes from New Look, which I managed to get in the sale. Sometimes I find myself wearing such clumpy shoes (always black) so these are on the grown up side for me.

Now excuse me while I go and pack my summer wardrobe away. At least we've got Christmas to look forward to!
